The cottage was well placed for days out to Monkey World and Lyme Regis. We also had a lovely day at Ford Abbey and Gardens which is only around 6 miles from the cottage. Jackie the caretaker was very friendly and helpful (especially when we got lost at Crewkerne and had to phone her!) Also the Craft Centre at the end of the road was a bonus, lovely cream teas there too! All in all we had a good time and would recommend the cottage and area.

The cottage is ideally situated for the wonderful and varied walking in the area, many of which can be started from the doorstep.

We were very impressed with the cottage and had a great stay. Our 15 month old son loved the garden and the cottage felt very homely and is within easy reach of some lovely beaches.

This cottage is ideally situated for visiting not only Dorset, but also Somerset and Devon. The village is charming and the locals very friendly.
